Rob Rush is running for Congress in Georgia’s 14th District to lower the cost of living, raise wages, restore accountability, and build an economy and a future that works for everyone. This policy overview outlines where he stands on the issues that matter most to families, workers, veterans, and rural communities, along with a broader vision for a brighter future for the people of the 14th, America, the world, and generations to come.
I’m running for Congress because too many Americans are working harder, paying more, and getting less — while a small corporate oligarchy rigs the system in its favor.
This campaign is about lowering the cost of living, restoring accountability, and rebuilding an economy that works for everyday people — right here in Georgia’s 14th District.
Lower prices. Higher pay. Real security.
Families are being squeezed by rising prices, stagnant wages, and corporate price-setting. I will fight to lower everyday costs, raise pay towards a $30/hr thriving wage with 4 weeks paid vacation to ensuring no one is pushed into poverty simply by working, and rein in corporate abuse.
Focus: groceries, housing, utilities, wages, paid time off, economic fairness
Care that keeps people healthy — not a system that profits from sickness.
America does not have a healthcare system — it has a sick-care system. I support replacing it with a Universal Wellness System, built on prevention, mental health, nutrition, and guaranteed care, so families are healthier and costs come down.
Focus: universal care, prevention, mental health, affordability
Public service should be service — not self-enrichment.
The biggest divide in America is not left vs. right — it’s a government captured by money and power. I will hold officials accountable to their oath, end legalized corruption, and restore trust in democratic institutions.
Focus: campaign finance reform, stock trading bans, term limits, transparency
Defend the nation. Avoid unnecessary wars. Honor veterans for life.
America should not enter aggressive wars. Military force should be used only in defense of the U.S. or our allies. And when we do send people to serve, we owe them lifetime care, housing, and dignity.
Focus: defensive foreign policy, veterans’ care, housing guarantees
Clean water, clean air, and energy that serves the public.
From PFAS contamination to rising utility costs, environmental harm hits families first. I support clean energy, strong environmental protections, and community-centered solutions that protect health without hurting working people.
Focus: clean water, pollution, energy fairness, public health
Equal protection under the law — for everyone.
I will defend constitutional rights, personal liberty, privacy, and equal treatment under the law. Government should protect freedom, not weaponize it against people.
Focus: civil rights, bodily autonomy, equal protection, due process
Protect kids. Support families. Put learning first.
Children deserve schools focused on learning and healthy development. I support limits on classroom phone use, strong parental involvement, and responsible social media protections that put kids’ mental health first.
Focus: education, youth mental health, phone policies, social media safety
Housing is a human need — not a speculative asset.
No one should be priced out of their community. I support policies that expand housing supply, protect renters, and ensure stable, affordable homes for families, seniors, and veterans.
Focus: housing costs, affordability, homelessness prevention
Healthy food and healthcare should exist in every community.
Too many rural areas are food and healthcare deserts. I support community-owned co-ops that bring grocery stores, clinics, and essential services back under local control.
Focus: food access, rural healthcare, co-ops, local resilience
Build infrastructure that connects communities — not just profits.
I support community greenways for low-speed mobility, electric transportation infrastructure, and energy systems that can be publicly or cooperatively owned so communities benefit directly.
Focus: greenways, local mobility, fusion energy, public utilities
Safety through accountability, prevention, and fairness.
Public safety works best when communities trust the system. I support smart reforms that reduce crime, protect rights, and focus on prevention, accountability, and rehabilitation.
Focus: justice reform, community safety, accountability
If we can afford war, we can afford to care for veterans.
No veteran should ever be homeless or denied care. Period. Veterans deserve housing, healthcare, and support for life.
Focus: veteran housing, healthcare, mental health, accountability
Support farmers. Protect land. Keep rural communities strong.
Family farms and rural towns are being squeezed by consolidation and pollution. I support fair markets, clean land and water, and local control.
Focus: family farms, clean water, rural investment, competition
Technology should serve people — not replace them.
AI and robotics are changing work fast. I support retraining, income stability during transitions, and fair contribution from companies that profit from automation.
Focus: job transitions, retraining, income security, AI accountability
I believe government should work for people who work, care for those who serve, and protect the future for our children.
That’s what this campaign is about.
